The practice consists of two qualified attorneys complimented by Administrative Assistants, Support Staff, Bookkeepers and auxiliary personnel who collectively service our clientele. We have offices in Empangeni and Richards Bay.
Philip Walsh and Renata Oosthuizen have practiced as attorneys in Durban and Zululand for a number of years and their collective experience exceeds fifty five years in the legal profession. We operate as a compact entity, which is capable of providing a premier and meaningful legal service to our clients.
The services offered by Philip Walsh Incorporated range from labour law and Civil Litigation, as well as Commercial transactions, Conveyancing, Administration of Estates, and Family Law. Over time our attorneys have been instrumental in the conclusion of a number of ground-breaking matters which include Appellate Division matters, matters in the High Court and the Constitutional Court (which culminated in the judicial system rethinking its previous approach to the awarding of damages in respect of Plaintiffs with what had been regarded as life-threatening conditions). We have been successful in a number of High profile labour court matters, having achieved highly favourable outcomes for our clients.
The staff of Philip Walsh Incorporated reflect the demographics of the broad population of the Republic of South Africa, in that we have a rich diversity of staff who hail from various cultural and racial groups. Our Empowerment status is that of a Level 4 Contributor.
Philip has served as a Rotarian for a number of years, and held the position as one of the Assistant District Governor for four years, for the region of KwaZulu-Natal and served as Small Claims Court Commissioner for a period of fifteen years.
